B for Blind - 02 April

I wake up
And its still pitch dark
I need to get up
And clean myself
Of the mess I have caused
I can’t stand sticky underwear
The heat of the lamp is alive
I get up and grope my way
Washed and bathed
I stumble to my balcony
Its still pitch dark
The heat hits me and I
Bask in it sitting
On my rocking chair
Few cups of tea and biscuits
I am ready and dressed
I pack some fruits and
Step out of my home
Still inky black
I cock my head and sense the heat
The sun is overhead - nearly noon
I dig into my bag and
Take out my stick
My nights are as dark
As my days are
I flick open my white stick
And tap my way out
